She asked a few of them to go into the Chem room for briefing on some important matters before heading to the nearest office with the PA system. "Attention students of Sly High. This is Adries. A lot has happened today, and I know that you are all afraid. I understand that. I know it's going to be hard but we have to work together to survive this zombiepocalypse. The first thing is that we all must be quiet, and turn off all lights. I believe the school has it's own generator; which we'll use when the town's power plant stops...which should be anytime now. Along with that I'm asking for volunteers to help with taking the metal bars off the desks so we can make some more barriers. It would be much appreciated. We will come up with more definite plans on what we'll do tomorrow. I hope you have a goodnight and...yeah. That's it." With that she stepped back from the PA and took a deep breath. "Phew. Man, I am so not going to keep doing that," she muttered, wiping sweat from her brow. |

And so, as the darkness falls over the ruined city, the school goes quiet, and the students take a well deserved rest in the Chem lab. But a new day will dawn soon... Will our makeshift band of heroes be ready for what happens next? ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** |

Dungeon Crawler Posts: 958 Joined: 18 Aug 2009 | "Huh? Oh, Mr. Lording. Hiya," Adries mumbled, yawning as she stood up, "What do you need?" |

Adventurer Posts: 414 Joined: 17 Jul 2009 | "I brought a few guns, nothing fancy, just a couple of shotguns and four pistols." Lording said. "I'm keeping one of the shotguns, but you can take the other. Also, there's something else, but that might want to wait until we're some place a bit more... quiet." |
Looking For Group Posts: 178 Joined: 7 Aug 2009 | Max has been hiding in the bathroom all day, fearing they would come, clutching his Bio Textbook, waiting to strike, finally a door swung open, a person walked in. He was young, no older than 15, a Freshman. Max immediately saw him as a threat and swung into action bringing his textbook down on the boy's skull. The boy screamed. Max continued to bludgeon him. There was a mixture of emotions in the boy's eyes. Fear. Incredulity. Finally anger. The boy raised his hands up to defend himself, it was too late. He was only a few hits away from the end, and Max's assault was unrelenting. Finally there was a pool of blead where the boy's head had been. In the aftermath Max noted the boy's behavior was odd, he could talk, he thought enough to defend himself, he had emotions. The only conclusion was that the zombies were smart, they behaved just like a normal person, and they had overrun the school. He would have to find them out and destroy them. Hopefully they would confuse him for one of their own. Max dropped the book and left the bathroom, wandering around the school until at last he saw it. The zombies were nesting in the Chemistry Lab, he would infiltrate them, he would destroy them. He knocked on the lab door |

For a moment, he almost forgot he was here, barricaded in the chemistry room of a high school, riding out the zombie apocalypse. When he remembered where he was, his short-lived happiness disappeared. Time to return to reality he thought. |
Dungeon Crawler Posts: 958 Joined: 18 Aug 2009 | "Alright. I'd personally rather take the pistol. We'll leave the other shotgun to Mr. Krim," Adries replied, "I think it'd make sense to give the people who can use a gun the guns. Quiet? Well, okay. Also, what did you learn? How is the city?" |
Looking For Group Posts: 178 Joined: 7 Aug 2009 | Max recognizes a kid he knows, Leon. He knew Leon as a decent enough person, and now he was a zombie. Hopefully he responded to the same name. He yells, "Leon! Over here. Its me Max." |
Master Looter Posts: 1039 Joined: 12 Jun 2008 | Charles turned and saw a kind calling over to Leon "He Leon, someone is calling for you. You know him?" |

Adventurer Posts: 414 Joined: 17 Jul 2009 | "Very well," says Lording, handing Adries a pistol. "Anyways, town isn't any good at all... most people killed themselves... at least two people did in the gunstore, and about 15 or 20 |
Dungeon Crawler Posts: 958 Joined: 18 Aug 2009 | Adries thanked Mr. Lording for the pistol, holstering it. "Well, atleast there are people still alive. We should try to keep in contact with them as best we can. We help them, they help us and that stuff. I don't think I'll call my parents; they're either dead or hiding and I'd rather not have zombies here the phone ring anyways." |

Dungeon Crawler Posts: 958 Joined: 18 Aug 2009 | ((Yeah, sorry about the how fast we are. Well, we were able to get to the workshop and board up the main entrance and a side entrance. As of now it is nighttime and the main people are chatting about stuff. Lording was able to get a few guns and supplies that he brought back from the city. That's about all. Almost everyone is off for the night though, so...yeah.)) |
Adventurer Posts: 327 Joined: 22 Mar 2009 | ((Goodie - it's morning here)) Slavoj took the shotgun. "You realise I have no idea how to fire this thing, right? Let alone aim. And the kickback is probably strong enough to break my arms..." he said, and put it on the table in the laboratory. "I'm going to try to find the radio transmitter. The science class built one last year, we may be able to contact the army or a similar group..." Believe in the ideal, not in the idol |
Dungeon Crawler Posts: 958 Joined: 18 Aug 2009 | ((It's 10:41 PM here. :P)) "Yeah, just thought it'd be in better hands with a teacher," Adries told Mr. Krim, closing the door after making sure no one else was coming in, "Hell if an adult can't fire it no way I can. Will we need anything to get the radio transmitter working or does it already have all it needs?" |
Adventurer Posts: 414 Joined: 17 Jul 2009 | "Well at least take a pistol," says Lording. "You never know what you'll find down there." |
Dungeon Crawler Posts: 958 Joined: 18 Aug 2009 | "I'm pretty sure we do know what we'll find down there," Adries replied to Lording with a chuckle, "Glad to see I still can still joke about stuff." |
Adventurer Posts: 327 Joined: 22 Mar 2009 | "Hopefully, we will find out the transmitter is not yet damaged. I can't repair it, and the physics teacher who helped the students build it is not here. It's our only chance..." said Slavoj. "Thanks for the pistol, though." Saying that, he took it. "Anyone coming with me?" Believe in the ideal, not in the idol |
Dungeon Crawler Posts: 958 Joined: 18 Aug 2009 | Adries looked around before shrugging, "I guess I have nothing better to do." |
Adventurer Posts: 327 Joined: 22 Mar 2009 | "Nothing better to do than risk your life over a bunch of students?" Slavoj chuckled. "Why, I'm glad to see there are still some alturists in this world..." Believe in the ideal, not in the idol |
Dungeon Crawler Posts: 958 Joined: 18 Aug 2009 | "Whatever, just lead the way teach," Adries replied back, taking a deep breath and walking out the classroom. The hallways were almost pitch black, with only the light of the moon making anything visible. The halls were empty for the most part except for a few students who either didn't want to or couldn't sleep in a classroom. |
Adventurer Posts: 414 Joined: 17 Jul 2009 | "I better not. Somebody needs to look after the kids." Lording said. (It's getting late. I'm going to sleep) |
Adventurer Posts: 327 Joined: 22 Mar 2009 | "I guess the power is out, eh?" said Slavoj, testing a light switch. "I hate darkness..." he said, and took a swig from his flask. Alcohol always calmed him down. He started walking down the stairs, slowly. Believe in the ideal, not in the idol |
Dungeon Crawler Posts: 958 Joined: 18 Aug 2009 | ((I'm also going to go to bed since not too many people are on and I still need my nightly music before sleep. Night y'all.)) "Tsk, tsk teach. Alcohol on the job. You're lucky I don't report you," Adries said in a joking voice. Oh, thank goodness teachers like her or else she'd have been expelled early on. 'It's a gift not getting into trouble,' Adries thought. "We should probably find flashlights too. Just so that it isn't as scary. Maybe we should check the school generator...wherever that may be...figure out where it is so we can get it to work," she added as she walked along the hallway following Mr. Krim. |
Adventurer Posts: 327 Joined: 22 Mar 2009 | "Your attempts at humor are not working," said Slavoj. "Whatever you may have seen from movies, joking in a situation like this is not recommended," he added, peeking around the corner for any signs of movement. "Besides, alcohol can act as a stimulant in small quantities. And it's also flammable, so we can use this in case one of the infected appears. I've got a zippo in my pocket" Believe in the ideal, not in the idol |

Leon turned to Adries. "That sounds like a good idea. This is getting tiring anyways."
