Endless Pilgrimage
There is little one can say if they've been to the endless plains. Very few are able to go to this inhospitable region. Even fewer could live there as the Clan Eco Warriors have learned to thrive. The Eco Warriors have found their own form of harmony with the created order. Not seeking to dominate and control it, but rather to coexist with the universe, understand and empathize with it.
The Eco Warriors have always esteemed many of the values which our Redeemed allies of the Shadowlands espouse. Harmony, Peaceful coexistence, Freedom for all.
Also as many now realize I'm sure, the Clans are very lacking behind Omni-Tek in technological and tactical advantages. We've become stagnant and unharmonious amongst ourselves.
Seeing how the Eco Warriors live in harmony with their homeland has further convinced me of just how much all Clan members need to live in harmony with each other and our allies.
So I offer a challenge to all the Clans and our Redeemed allies to come together. In the Endless Plains live creatures called the Drill Flowers. These gigantic plants live off of notum veins and move around only to find water sources. However they don't exhaust the source as omni-tek mining equipment does and the Sentinel copies of it. They take just enough for growth and never exhaust the Notum Veins they grow on. In fact the Drill Flowers take out excess notum which goes into the ecosystem around it to promote even more growth. These plants are durable, live under extreme environments and are yet adaptable.
I propose that the Clan come together and adapt these Drill Flowers to suitable use in Notum mining. Together we could create an environmentally friendly drilling equipment which can harvest notum at a regulated rate which will protect the resource forever. Also one which will give us an economic and potentially military advantage over Omni-Tek. Perhaps these Drill Flowers could even be adapted to work in the extreme environments of the Shadowlands? if so we would have a new and highly valuable resource at our disposal. The potential for this technology is so amazing, I think it is worth our while to develop even if it takes years in the making.
Is this perhaps a Vision all my fellow Clanners might find worth persuing?
